Our Editorial Team

Mitchell ivers, Vice President and Editorial Director

is Vice President and Editorial Director for Threshold Editions. He has been at Simon & Schuster since 1997, where he has also edited books for the Pocket Books, Jeter Publishing, Scribner, Atria Books, and Simon & Schuster Trade imprints.


Under the Threshold Editions imprint, Mitchell has edited books by politicians, pundits, political cartoonists, and provocateurs, including #1 bestsellers for former Vice President Dick Cheney and broadcasters Mark Levin, Glenn Beck, and Rush Limbaugh. He has also edited bestselling books by Donald Trump, Michelle Malkin, Tom Fitton, Jose Rodriguez, James O’Keefe, Ben Shapiro, Jason Mattera, John Stossel, and two upcoming books by Tucker Carlson.


Mitchell began his publishing career in 1987 at Random House and worked at HarperCollins before moving to Simon & Schuster in 1997. Over the course of his almost-thirty-year-long career, Mitchell has edited twenty-four #1 New York Times bestsellers.


Natasha simons, Editor 
Natasha started at Simon & Schuster in February 2011 and has worked on #1 bestsellers for former Vice President Dick Cheney and broadcasters Mark Levin, Glenn Beck, and Rush Limbaugh. Her first Threshold title was the
New York Times bestselling The Last Punisher by Kevin Lacz, one of American Sniper Chris Kyle’s platoon mates. She has worked closely on the editing of books by Michelle Malkin, Governor Bobby Jindal, Jason Mattera, Ben Shapiro, and Katie Pavlich and is also the editor of The New American Revolution, Reasons to Vote for Democrats, and First Freedom. Natasha spent a year at National Review and has held internships at Regnery, Random House, and the White House.

Hannah Brown, Editorial Assistant 
Hannah joined the Gallery team in 2017, after working at a small book distributor and is delighted to be in the editorial department. She loves all books, but specifically biographies and memoirs because she finds people and their stories fascinating. When she is not reading, you can find Hannah drawing, singing, and watching Frasier reruns.
